That’s exactly what I mean. Just like email, different providers/servers can do things a little differently. I suppose that’s just a side effect of being decentralized.

I use voyager, so I only have media,link,text as options. I must admit, as much as I love the fediverse, it can be a bit confusing sometimes .

If the AI slop infects Wikipedia to such an extent that it becomes unusable, then such dusty backups could be very valuable. I completely agree that the issue at hand will not be solved by a simple backup, but it won’t hurt either.

THIS IS AWESOME!!! I’ve been working on using an obsidian vault and a podman ollama container to do something similar, with VSCodium + continue as middleware. But this! This looks to me like it is far superior to what I have cobbled together.
I will study your codeberg repo, and see if I can use your conductor with my ollama instance and vault program. I just registered at codeberg, if I make any progress I will contact you there, and you can do with it what you like.
On an unrelated note, you can download wikipedia. Might work well in conjunction with your conductor.

I am the IT guy in my family, I have a bunch of S7s for the wife and kids with eOS, and everybody is more then happy with them.
I got a fairphone 5 a awhile ago for myself, and while it did cost €600+, I wanted the modularity and reparability, I just wanted to support that type of company and try it out. Hopefully I will have it for 10 years or so.
That is a very healthy attitude to have!
No idea where to find such a font. But why not just do it yourself? Find a font you like, make the 3D file, and then add the positive bars to support the loose bits manually to each character that needs it.
I’m assuming that you don’t have hundreds of such cases for your stencil, of course.

It takes a little while to get used to the block programming, but it’s fun and can do lots of stuff. The free version should work fine on an alternate android-based OS, but I haven’t checked myself.
Edit: used to use. I haven’t actually been on stock android for a while, and I haven’t used the app in a while either.
NordVPN works very well for me. I’m coincidentally working on setting up an openVPN with their guide, and so far it has been clear and easy.
I have a Fairphone 5 with eOS, and I’m happy. Their service is painfully slow, but otherwise professional and reliable. You can run into headaches when flashing eOS if you are not super-cautious (dm mefor details if you like), but the instructions are good, and you can also buy various phones direct from Murena with eOS already installed.
I have eOS on the fairphone 5, and I have had zero problems with banking apps and the like.
That doesn’t mean you won’t have problems though, I don’t use many of those kinds of apps other than a bank authentication app, and a few others for public transit tickets, etc. I also live in europe, milage may vary elsewhere.
Keep in mind that eOS IS android, just with google telemetry removed. You can add a google account if you want/need to, at which point any android app should work as expected. That of course defeats the purpose somewhat, but even then eOS will still help you stay as private as possible by informing you about app trackers and using alternative services for location, etc.
