I did see another translation, I think in a Wikipedia or something, closer to what you wrote. Very interesting and thank you for sharing.

Narrator: “They didn’t.”

That’s a LOT of article for something we all know.

My smart TV is a dumb TV so long as I never give it any internet connection.

At this point in the world, just fuck literally everyone and everything.

To be honest, I’d judge people who have fridges with a screen. Completely unnecessary. This problem is easily solved.

Assumptions like these tend to go wrong for neurodivergent groups.

Somehow I figured out Intel was shit early on. Been AMD for like 15-20 years. I think it was a combo of childhood shit computers running Intel, and a lot of advice pointing out what garbage it was and not worth the cost for PC builds.
Similar reasons I hate Hitachi and Western Digital hard drives. They always fucking fail.

Go learn simple regression analysis (not necessarily the commenter, but anyone). Then you’ll understand why it’s simply a prediction machine. It’s guessing probabilities for what the next character or word is. It’s guessing the average line, the likely followup. It’s extrapolating from data.
This is why there will never be “sentient” machines. There is and always will be inherent programming and fancy ass business rules behind it all.
We simply set it to max churn on all data.
Also just the training of these models has already done the energy damage.

Wait for Gen X to pop in as usual and seek attention with some “we always get ignored” bullshit.

And character is like a tree and reputation is a shadow of it, and it takes a hell of a lot less to bring it down than to grow it up.

I’ve watched this go down long enough in enough industries to know better than to believe their claim of not logging.
You’re being watched. Hell, your data’s probably being handed over to cops without your knowledge.

Knowing a company is watching me because it’s openly known, is to me better than paying a company to not watch me and likely risk them simply selling out eventually like they all do.
It’s funnier when you stupidly expected them to protect you, PAID them for it, and they don’t.
It’s like 23andme. Too fucking funny and everyone deserves it for their stupidity.

VPNs are wild to me. “Hey! Pay some company to promise not to watch you so you can pretend to be private and not have some company watching you.”

Just got done switching to Bazzite and couldn’t be more satisfied. Super similar to Steam Deck. Almost everything on the gaming rig worked right away.

The internet hasn’t noticed yet
Says article on the internet shared with others on the internet and linked to from many internet places.
Article titles are fucking garbage. At least it didn’t pul the “Here’s why” bullshit.
Reminds me of 15 years ago.
