While Cloudflare tunnels do work, streaming Jellyfin through them is technically against their TOS and they could shut you down for doing so. Instead, I recommend setting up Pangolin with a cheap VPS. Although, it will cost ~$5 a month or so.

And this right here is exactly why I chose Jellyfin. If it’s owned by a company it will just get worse over time.

I had a coworker that was heavily into this stuff. She got breast cancer and decided to go this route. If she isn’t dead she most likely will be soon. The last I heard it wasn’t pretty. She was in her early 30s.

Welp, time to stock up on some older routers or make my own. This country is looking more Orwellian by the day.

This is what I’m afraid of too. I could see apps like fdroid and the ability to install custom roms being taken away within the next year or two. I hope I’m wrong but I don’t have a good feeling. I need Linux phones to be a thing now more than ever.
There is an app on fdroid called SpamBlocker that I am using. It allows you to add spam call databases like the US’s do not call list, for example. You can also do other stuff like block numbers that don’t have a specific area code or that come from a specific state, etc.
It’s one of the Google WiFi white pucks. Unfortunately I’m not home at the moment to see the model number. I’ll look into that though, thank you.

LibreWolf is awesome. I wish they had an android app, but I’ve been using IronFox since that’s what the LibreWolf developers suggest.
I’ve been really happy with buying a ~$200 mini PC and putting OPNsense on it. You just have to make sure it has two Ethernet ports. OpenWRT is another great option if you don’t have the money for that.
