Put Graphene OS on your Pixel.

Unfortunately I don’t have an official source either, I’ve seen it on a Telegram channel a few days ago. Banknote serials are logged when dispensed from ATMs and when cash is being counted at the bank, e.g. when brought in by a business. So there are already checkpoints for banknote tracking. Cash isn’t as anonymous as people think, but for coins.

That’s at government’s discretion. E.g. they might decide to increase the velocity of money, by causing it to expire. The point is that they can render your cash invalid, with no recourse.

US recently introduced the bright idea of banknote serial numbers blacklists. Great incentive to hold greenbacks!

In hard science degrees like chemistry and molecular biology the employer is actually milking new hires for the skills you got during your PhD, for a few years. These skills are very much not useless.

Some enterprises do run their own hardware (these can ROI in 6 months or so), and there the economics is very well known. For the majority of the current use it’s a giant bubble, as Ed Zitron’s great analyses keep telling us.

It is very profitable in certain roles in the enterprise. This is orthogonal to it being a massive bubble, about to blow up.

I have no interest nor trust in Max, but as long as the Cheburnet Wars continue it will be the easiest way for nontechnical people to make voice calls.

Depends on when the AI bubble pops.

Obtain a Kasachstan or Byelorus sim card, install it on a burner phone with the Max messenger for minimal overall pain.

I use the bank web site, with a hardware TAN generator. If no bank offers that option you can use a dedicated device that is used just for that. My bank’s app works on Graphene OS though.

We can always self-host. We’re using such a resource right now. Of course they can start blocking and persecuting, like they’re doing in Russia right now. At which point you should start learning about fpv drones as a hobby, particularly the fiber-optic kind.

I don’t use apps from official software installation sources. I will boycott any site or service that asks me for unnecessary information.

My own tamper-proof server in a locked cage. There are no noncompliant jurisdictions.

I use Graphene OS and mostly/exclusively only open source applications.
Using the Internet makes you subject to TLA spying.

I use many software installation sources, including Obtainium from GitHub. I do not assign the same trust levels to each. E.g. F-Droid at least has some shallow level of review for the packages they build.

It’s a privacy hardened Fennec available from the GOS Accrescent app installation source. I only use Vanadium for sites that don’t run in it.
And at a rate faster than ever. The indexes are always highest just before a crash.
