Why the fact that he was able to connect to their endpoint wasn’t sufficient to indicate to them that the Internet connection was not the issue I do not know.
L1 isn’t there to think, they’re there to read from their script.

Strawmen aren’t typically 1:1 comparisons.

I can further confirm this is the case on the Isle of Man, Jersey, Gurnsey, and Gibralter, all of which are in Europe.
So by your logic, I can say, accurately, ‘europeans don’t require automobile safety inspections’.
The North American brain cannot comprehend.

The European brain can not comprehend.
…that north America is a big continent with multiple countries and dozens of states, and many of these states do indeed require safety inspections.
You’re not alone. I’ve seen plenty of Europeans having trouble comprehending that.

Only drive cars made before Onstar and similar systems were added in the early 90s.
You said it yourself. While I understand the thought behind “let’s not make it easy for them”, it’s going to be easy for them no matter what you drive. Keeping a 40+ year old car on the road is going to be prohibitively expensive for most people. Also, OnStar systems from that far back will be based on radio infrastructure that doesn’t even exist anymore. Even 3g towers are rare these days and that wasn’t launched until the 2000s.

I see this constantly on the internet. “Some backwater Podunk state puts the 10 commandments in classrooms” becomes “The US puts the 10 commandments in classrooms”. It’s like people don’t understand how this country is architected.

Flush with cash from the military industrial complex, repurposing factories built for the war, and with its largest economic rivals lying in ruin. Yes.

Great news for trans mice

( & if they forgot to put spyware into their app this time, that doesn’t mean it won’t come in in an update. )
Do you honestly believe the federal government needs people to install the official Whitehouse app in order to track their location?
If so, lol.

Nobody over the age of 12 cares in the US either

Web interface, no client software required. I can fire up a brand new machine and access my DB without installing anything.

Wow, what a horrible idea. But assuming you have a compatible device and didn’t disable this feature, blacklisting it in your router wouldn’t help much.

Or you would just not connect it to the wifi. It’s not like it’s going to guess your WPA key.

Yeah I’d actually prefer a breathalyzer if they feel they need to do something

Per bidens Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, that’s going to be every new car starting this year

Why would you use zfs over fat12?

We had a project that, by law, could only be touched by people within the US. We constantly caught Deloitte trying to sneak their (undoubtedly cheaper) off shore staff in there.

Thanks for the tips but I’m a very experienced windows user, I did all of that immediately after install lol. To put it in perspective, my first step after installing bazzite was to join it to my personal AD domain that lives on my hyper-v cluster. If there’s something I could have done to get this performance on win 11 it would have probably been significantly more complicated and time consuming than any of the basics.
Because they went after a conservative like Obama
