Hopefully let’s hypothesize becomes an actual genre of posts

Brief description: so I have a fridge compressor hooked up to a radiator and hold my finger over the outlet till I the pressure literally pushes my skin out of the way; then I move my finger to release the pressure fully. When my finger moves I can see a mist come out

It’s not super consistent but I can get the mist to appear if I resist the pressure as much as possible can.

It’s also compressed air.

I do have a longer version of the video but the event happens so fast that it would be frustrating to sit through 30 seconds for .5 second event

You are going to spend far more money running the compressor than you would by any other system. A solar still requires nothing but a few vessels and sunlight, no electricity or moving parts at all.

Solar still would be a good way of getting the heavy metals out. the compressor based dehumidifier was meant for areas with very little water except for water vapor in the air.

I might look into relays with duty cycle, if I get a proof of concept working. From what I see I want the compressed air to cool down and water droplets inside to settle before adding more air.

It will be an option for come steaders
