App admission for both google and apple is already heavily automated, getting to a live human being is basically impossible.
If they manage to wire in an llm that adequately explains exactly why the new version was rejected, instead of vaguely pointing at paragraph 2.6.2 (4 pages of tiny text) that’ll be an improvement. Tho I’m not holding my breath on the “adequately” part.
Apple: Your app was rejected because it uses a payment processor that is not allowed on the App Store. Is there anything else I can help you with?
Dev: My app doesn’t contain any payment functionality at all!
Apple: I’m sorry, I made a like mistake there. Please contact the App Store support team to help you with this kind of issue.
Dev: You are the App Store support team!
Apple: That is entirely correct! Please allow me to refer you to section 14 of the Apple Developer Agreement to show why your payment processor is not supported:

Apple: “Because it’s just a website with an app wrapper around it. You haven’t bothered to integrate any device-specific features like Siri support. We encourage you to ship this as a web app.“
*At least that’s what I wish Apple would tell some of these devs. There’s way too much garbage on the App Store. Like do Microsoft Word templates someone made over a weekend really need to be sold through Apple?

I hate how correct you are 😭
That’s exactly the script they will be using 😂
