4 months agoDoes this actually surprise anyone considering Google already pays Apple a bazillion dollars every year to be the default search engine in Safari… I know they’re not exactly the same thing but the two companies are already in bed together.

I’ve tried it. It’s very slow. The app on iOS has two “modes” to choose from when connecting. One is labelled “Fast (Wireguard)” and the other is labelled “Anonymous (Mixnet)”. The “Fast” mode is still two hops so it takes forever to establish a connection. You get to choose the entry and exit nodes though. The “Mixnet” is 5 hops. Slow af. Barely useable at all.
