I actually found pure Debian to be perfect for me as a newcomer a few years back.

They’re just a hater.

Some mangled gargoyle looking shit that I cobbled together some time ago.
I mean we could do a publicity campaign if you want. I love the system, it’s just very unknown.

Do you not?

I have a pretty nice webdav script for apache. It’s self hosting, but I’ve made it minimal and secure, so if you wish I can send it to you.
Preferably I’d use a better protocol altogether, but that doesn’t really exist right now so here we are.

You seem to care enough to ask strangers on the internet for similar experiences.

If it makes you feel any better, when someone calls on you being normal, they are, by definition, the asshole that can’t adjust. Doesn’t mean they’re an unlovable person, but it’s a personal flaw of them, not you. It’s not like you are changing their way of life. You are changing your way of interacting with them. Respect and understanding should go both ways, not just one.

Ahhh, men.

Who’s with me on funding a donation based manure activism campaign where we send tons of manure to asshole anonymously?

Then you want to create a future that does not serve you. If my family tries to sell me dishsoap, I will stop them. If someone wants to push AI ads, I will block them. There is no known mechanism they have to force me to watch ads.

And it’s not like they’re gonna stop them anyways.

If by normal you average, they don’t even really need 16gb.
Creative work can gobble up ram, heavy ass multitasking does as well.
So it’s more in the digitally productive professional or hobbyist cases where you need such amounts as a person.
For development high amounts of rams can be useful for all sorts of stuff, it’s not just compiling, but also testing, though 32 is often enough.

Oh, I wish that were true, but things are not this certain.

Sure hope it’s a drug against cancer.

The future is no ads.

“Digital ownership must be respected.”
Yeah, that’s what this entire thing is about.
And this is why we want to flash our phones ourselves.
