Saying there’s multiple retailers, while also admitting they just give you a Steam code is some wild delusional G*mer behaviour.

Whatever you say sheep.
If it wasn’t a monopoly they wouldn’t be able to prevent games being sold on other services for cheaper

Because Steam has held a monopoly for years and generations of G*mers have been brainwashed into accepting it.

Lemmy is filled with men right activists and misogynists that don’t hide.

See the same people that circle jerked over that article, now try and act like they knew it was fake all along.

oh hello Epic
Steam literally did it first.

By striking exclusively deals with publishers for digital distribution and using it for DRM for physical releases.
And now the generation that allowed that say to the next that Steam is the default.

Valve only has a good reputation because for generations of G*mers it’s the default option.
They have been indoctrinated into Steam’s system.

Spent a decade saying refunds weren’t possible until the EU told them to wise up. And even then it’s the bare minimum.
Selling broken and abandoned games.
Entering deals with publishers to force physical copies of the game to use Steam. Making the disc worthless.

And that excuses Valve?
You brainwashed sheep.
All ways got to bring up another company that COPIED Valve as an excuse for glazing Lord GabeN balls.

Lol
Greenlight Early access Gambling economy Microtransactions Segmenting games to be sold as parts.
Fuck off with that shit.

Are brainwashed G*mers finally going to see Valve for the monopolistic anti-consumer sack of shits they are.
Looks at comments
I guess not.

Bit of both. More on the indi/hobby side of things though.

It’s a production issue mostly. And one that has been predicted for a while now.
High Bandwidth Memory is what the AI companies want. Which while it isn’t the same as consumer DDR RAM, it does use the same chips.
It’s the production of the chips that are the bottleneck. Combined with the recent and rapid growth in AI data centers. That’s where the price increase and shortages come from, corporate buyers have bought out production, before it hits the consumer market.
Demand has risen sharply, and supply isn’t able to keep up (and it isn’t a simple thing to just make more chips).

I know this is sarcasm, but in case people don’t know.
Oh Jesus Christ no. At least Wikipedia has some form of oversight from multiple sources and people.

No surprise.
Wikipedia ain’t the bastion of facts that lemmites make them out to be.
It’s a mess of personal fiefdoms run by people with way too much time on their hands and an ego to match.

And where could one find these unlimited porn generators.
So I could avoid them at all costs.

Surly it can’t be because of the decline in quality because of deposit admins defending their own personal fiefdoms.

Like a pizza cutter. It’s all edge and no point
How will Lemmites decide which circle to jerk?
China good or AI bad?
