10 months agoLosing weight has always had heart benefits. This isn’t news. Maybe it’s news that a weight loss drug actually works ? It feels disingenuous for the article and/or the quoted studies to leapfrog the actual cause of reduced heart problems and attempt to give the credit directly to the drugs. As if only the drugs could produce these results.
I think this is it. Motives can be debated, but I’m convinced the food supply is the real problem - not lack of universal health care. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. What the boomers ate is considered ‘boutique’ or ‘organic’. If we could go back to that food supply chain, I think many of our ailments would go away.
