Do it the hard way or the easy way. Oh and good luck with a drive update.

Won’t work if you need to update something like dell hardware firmware. DUP wont run in a pe environment. Of course you can extract the files but that doesn’t always work. Sometimes you have to boot windows if the manufacturer doesn’t bother to make a linux version for a desktop like they do for all their servers.

It wont stop anyone looking to print a silencer. It will just make it closed source and pay per print. Its a idiots solution.

Microsoft doesn’t believe in good security. That is why the gatekeep like this.

Windows is making a move to destroy my favorite type of tunnel. The only problem with that Macroslop is that I don’t use them on windows machines at all. FreeBSD and Linux sure but the only thing a windows machine is good for is to be a shitty server or a workstation for those who wont learn something new.

Thats after they got spacex to buy a large number of them.

Banning VPNs means the spread out locations in my companies network don’t get to talk to one another. Plus I can run a tunnel through a ssh session and the only way they could tell it was a VPN would be by the amount of traffic. Its pointless and the only reason they keep trying is that the recording pukes don’t understand how anything works other than their narrow greed driven focus.
This is going to be a upside down work flow since it varies depending on what you are trying to achieve. If you want to split an object up in order to make it a multi part/color print then start with 1a otherwise start with 1
Start with a new document
import stl file
Under the part menu convert to ‘shape from mesh’
Under the part menu in the copy menu click ‘refine shape’ not required but I find it sometimes makes the resulting solid a little smoother.
Under the part menu click ‘Convert to solid’
If all steps are successful you are done. If not then delete everything and start back with the mesh. The most common error for me is ‘Cannot convert because Shape is not a shell’
1a. Under the mesh menu click ‘Split by components’ There are also some repairs you can make on a mesh under analyze. I rarely use these but have had some success with them from time to time. This will create at least two component meshes. I’ve had many more than that and at some point it isn’t worth it at least for me.
2a .Perform steps 1 through 5 on all components. Under the part menu select all the converted solid components and use the union tool to create a fusion of them.
I’ve done all my work in Freecad for years. Its really good at converting a stl back in to a solid. Some think its hard to do but its really easy and consistent. Some take more steps than others but its a solid tool for doing a rework on a 3d printable object. I can usually in a matter of minutes split a stl into separate models for multi color printing.

I upgraded mine last year. Went from a core 2 duo with 4gig of ram to a fifth generation I5 with 16 gig of ram. Installed pfblockerNG and now I don’t need any other device to have a decent filter.

with a 24 hour delay guarunteed to punish anyone who wants to have their device their way.

No one I care about. Its hard to feel sorry for them since they helped make it happen.

Its not like the people will get it. Just useless slop companies.

When you are a young man its jack off or wet dream. Pick one.

Discord management is just saying “Retreat, we have been discovered. You’ve won this time users but know this we will be back to dox you in full next time!”

Its been over five years since I have logged into discord. Its shit.

It still has full support. That counts for a lot. Fly by night boards that quickly lose support are hardly ‘Affordable’

The problem with intel. They never just keep going. They announce some new gpu/graphics product and when it falls short they don’t or wont stick with it. They abandon it and use it as a write off. They have done this multiple times and I have no reason to believe they will do anything different. The last time was just a few years ago and when sales and performance lagged they just quit.
This isn’t why those pushing for want it. It isn’t about the kids safety but harvesting more information so they can tie all the other tracking data they have to a individual. its alway think of the children but lets make some money while we are at it.
