It was costing the administration around half a million dollars.
How? Surely this was put in place as a cost cutting measure. I mean, terminate it, sure. Pay actual humans. I just have questions.

If you look closely at the photos of them together, you’ll notice that wasn’t really her; it was a couch with a wig.

People living in the US but using an Apple account set to another country. Because you can only switch it once a year or something inconvenient like that. Whatever the circumstances may be, there is seemingly no good reason to restrict the app to US accounts only.

Because ICE targets people not from the US?

Was this ever even available to non-US accounts? Was there ever an explanation for why it was georestricted?

Oh, I know. And at least some emulators let you use the mouse as a faux light gun so all is not lost.

There are patches for the NES zapper games to make them work on modern TVs.

No Bayou Billy 🙁

Can a human be expected to have a successful life when they have to pay for knowledge they need access to? I am not against the opinion that information should be free and freely accessible. But does this courtesy also extend to the common folk or is it exclusive to expensive machines and their owners? You wouldn’t download a United States government. da-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na

Well, no, but is that really the bar? It is a pretty low bar no matter how you dress it up. Now leave me alone with my schaedeghenayegh.

Using an ad blocker makes me tech savvy? Oh, la, la. Hand me my monocle and glass of schardonayegh.

It sounds like a honeypot to me. But I would be happy to be proven wrong.
Edit: and it’s gone?

I’m not a United Statesian so I have no clue anymore how it works there, but other places have been making the case that the Internet is an essential service and that access to it is a basic right. So to leapfrog off your question, is that like a poor person stealing a loaf of bread being cut off from food because they didn’t food responsibly enough?

Do companies release these nonsensical products as justification to squat on patents?

Unauthorized is their office nickname for Musk.
People lock their doors; everyone understands.
Now that you mention it, there was that story about Air Canada’s chatbot misleading a customer which ended up costing them $800. 😔
Edit: I know, legal fees and such, but there didn’t appear to be any punitive component nor incentive to change course.
