At my job I’m so fucking tired of being told how to do my job with more AI. I use AI as I see fit to help with development, end of story. The manager of manual QA was told to use AI more, so what he figured out is that now we’re going to have manual testers generating code that we’ll have to look over I guess. Fun. Productive. Great.

Kate exists on MacOS? Seems like a no-brainer. I discovered it with KDE, of course, and it’s great.

Everyone has a price. My price is many many times higher than whatever money they’d make back selling my data and advertising to me.

Maybe I just don’t have enough friends for this to make sense, but this makes no sense to me. If you wanna know if I’m down to hang out, just ask.

That’s so dumb. The plus plus indicates its a new, better version of the Notepad software. Nextpad doesn’t exist, so nextpad++ makes no sense.
I looked it up, and the default text editor on MacOS is TextEdit, so why not call it TextEdit++?
I’m not sure why I’m putting in this much thought, they probably just asked AI to rename it for them.

I don’t like git clients built into my IDE, my preference at the moment is Fork (though curse them for choosing that name, searching for problems with Fork is impossible)

In that case, I’m really really smart.

How long can a discussion be about pressing a button to install a thing from the package manager, then launch said thing?

If it’s local, unobtrusive, and optional, I don’t see the issue. I’m thinking like the full line code completion in intellij, that’s actually useful.

I use gimp at least weekly. The UX isn’t great imo, but I’m used to it now, and I’m sure Photoshop would boggle my mind. It also has improved quite a bit in the past years.

+2 for offering a lifetime purchase option (though it is kinda pricey)

That’s crazy. It must just be super easy considering it’s chromium now.

Does Edge support Linux? Actually, never mind. I’m good.
On your phone, assuming you use Android, there are many apps that allow disabling shorts.

Man, all I want is square speeds. I’d be happier with 100Mbps square than I am with my current 400/40Mbps down/up, even if it was the same price. I’m a video creator and self-hoster, 40Mbps up is not enough.

It isn’t. Public transit is great. When will it be discovered in America? Who knows.

I agree with you, but the difference is that, in the US, people NEED to be able to drive to function in society. That’s why the bar has to be so low to get a license.
As someone who has 30k in the bank and qualified for multiple 350k loans with the lenders implying I’d be good for more, this mames no sense.
