Absolutely NOT in office/email/whatever. But I must say copilot in vscode is very useful, auto-completion and for small tasks, it can generates code not that bad, just need small mod here and there and that’s it.

Well, it’s because Russia is jamming GPS signal, it affects planes, cars, everything relying on GPS.

I can assure you the body fails between 35 and 65…
I got a major hit at 54… I got hit by andropause :-/

Not sure someone knows for the moment, but for sure the US part will have all its data in US data center and all. App can be the same binaries I guess, like Netflix for instance, that use IP/geo location to show you different stuff.

There will be a US tiktok algorithm (full of racist white supremacist fascist stuff), and a RestOfTheWorld algorithm (with doorables labubu and other nonsense)

can’t with broadcom

yes for a long time now

I remember maybe 12-15 years ago, setting OpenVPN on my TomatoUSB flashed router, invoking all kind of openssl command to generate certificates, keys, signing stuff, setting the router, setting the TAP/TUN clients etc. but once setup it works for years on my laptop, phone, etc.
Now with WG I basically scan on my phone a QR code generated on my Merlin router and that’s it.

This first thing you should do when going protesting, is to leave your phone at home.

It’s not really a TPM problem, my Dell has TPM2.0 which is perfectly compatible with win11. My problem is the CPU (i5 6th gen) missing some stuff for modern device drivers or something, that is preventing me from upgrading win10 to win11.
Yes I dual boot MX Linux on it :)

i’m middle aged and everyone assumes i’m lonely and depressed, but really i’m just not interested in being around people
I agree, I’m middle aged too and fine like this, enjoy spending time with my partner, our dog, nature, birds watching, etc.

Yup, and FB feed is horrible since then. Now a shit load of alternative pages are spam publishing all kind of fake news and far-right stuff. Everything is anti-left, bash liberal, bash quebec, bash woke, bash electric cars, etc.

I’m glad my car, a Sorento 2020, in Canada, does not have a modem or a GPS, does not call home, etc and has no Sirius XM

I have a 240W extension from AliExpress, used with a 120W power for my laptop, it never gets hot even when using 100+W

I know it’s not a hardware compatibility problem. People just don’t want ads/tracking/AI bullshit, a removed control panel, settings that are hard to find/hidden, etc.
All intel processor 8th gen+ (and even some 7th gen IIRC) are win11 compatible, motherboard have TPM2 for years, even my intel 6th gen MB have TPM2.0.
Next year the intel 8th gen will have 8 years, people have PC/laptop more recent than that. Problem is that win10 will not get security updates and all.
I’m using MX Linux BTW.

It depends on the model (and the price), I’m in Québec where we have -30°C (-22F) about every winter, my heatpump is mid-range, and works fine until -20C (-4F) so 95% of the time. It is set to 23C (73F) and it’s between 21-23 everywhere in the house. The electric baseboard are set to 21C (70F) as backup.
So yeah, heat pumps can works great in winter, no problem.
Also as written in the article, with defrosting and variable speed compressors, it is very efficient. Mine is Energy Star compliant, and act as air conditionner in summer.
Sure you can burn a CD, but I think I have nothing to play them anymore. My car (2020) does not have a CD player anymore. Nor my PC nor my laptop have one. I may have in my drawer an old BD reader DVD burner/reader with a SATA plug or something, I remember I plugged it on my laptop with a USB adapter yearsssss ago to rip my LOTR BD. It has been used 1 time in like 10 years.
