It’s always so hard to tell lol. I just know a similar thing helped for a similar problem on my Voron 2.4

You say this happened before on a previous nozzle, was it also a 0.2mm? Try cranking your max volumetric flow way down and see if that helps

I’ve helped build a couple 350mm Voron v2 for the local library makerspace.
Those are some big linear rails!! Can’t wait to see what you make with that. Maybe a belt printer would be good, lot of the huge ones are belt based for some reason. Like how about this one?

Nice! Followed your channel too, it’s always nice to see more PeerTube content out there.
Unrelated but out of curiousity, if you had tagged this community in the video’s description, would it have shown up here by itself? I do that from one fedi platform to another all the time, like from PixelFed to Lemmy, but I’ve never tried this specific crossing.
It depends a bit on what kind of media the platform you’re viewing it from is capable of displaying. From Piefed all I see is a small snippet of information about what the object is. If any platform (other than ManyFold itself) implements a 3d viewer, it ought to let you see and rotate the object itself. Kinda like how a PeerTube video shows up on Mastodon?
Aww, i guess it’s atill kinda janky unfortunately… Works in theory at least! And works on my client?
Is it finally time for ManyFold, our very own Fediverse 3d object repository, to shine? Look, you can tag/follow/etc an object right from here, like this one: @[email protected]

Our makerspace shreds it all (by type of course) into flakes, but doesn’t have a use for those yet unfortunately… The handful of companies recycling it are too far away. However, at some point we want to pick up an injection molding machine for it, when we have the funds.
That is, except for the PHA (Polyhydroxyalkanoates), I just take that home and compost it.

That CNC option is looking very appealing. Particularly considering that the TAP carriage isn’t all that different from the stock SB one and I hate it lol

Oh geez! That’s definitely ominous… I woulda opted for the Beacon in the first place, but AFAIK it doesn’t do CANbus, right? When did you get your carto? Really hope they ironed out the problems since then!

That would definitely be less work and money, true… Just reprint the normal StealthBurner carriage I guess? Does that have a mount for eddy probes?
Ok fair, i was comparing between LDO kits. If you go outside them sure, but then a non-LDO Rook will also be half as much and even more affordable
A voron 0.2 kit costs $650 🙃

I would add to this, see if your local library either already offers such a service, or else would consider it if enough people ask. The one I work for does it and our prices are much, much lower than similar commercial services.

As someone who has used an Ultimaker S5 Pro and a Snapmaker Artisan at work for many years now… go open source. This name brand shit is not a single iota more reliable/less finicky/more performant, in my experience. Build a Voron or a Rook or a Lemontron or a K3 or a Rat Rig, etc. If you need help, see if your local public library has a makerspace that can assist or at least lend you the tools.

Mostly so i can use it myself without having to navigate away from this post to sub the community hehe

Well unfortunately, since we live on a burning down planet, that’s not a factor that can be conscionably reconsidered…
On the other hand, we also work with post-consumer recycled PLA, PA-CF, HIPS, and PETg, and none of them seem to behave appreciably worse than their virgin counterparts.

Oh you’re not wrong lol, that’s true!
I doubt this is it, but it kinda looks like what happens when your slicer has arc welder turned on, but your printer firmware does not. You get a bunch of unrecognized G2/G3 commands flying by in the console, and curves get weirdddddd looking
