Public money gets funneled to the tech bros and the population gets dumber. It’s a conservative win-win.

"support for common-sense policies and candidates”
So that will be the loudest fascists who have their tongues furthest up the billionaires’ arseholes.

Come off it. Next you’ll be saying that https://lemmyverse.link/lemmy.ca/c/vxjunkies are just making it up.

Ha ha. Good luck getting anything useful out of the dog shit code I write.

I’m not sure it’s good for Linux to attract disgruntled windows users. It would be better to attract people who actually want to use an OS that is different to Windows, rather than ones that just want a Windows that works. Linux is not a version of Windows.

Gosh. Who could have foreseen this?

Apparently it’s about reducing shift changes, which is when most mistakes happen. You would have to hope that someone has done research into mistakes caused by fatigue vs. mistakes caused by shift changes.

Someone told me that the reason for 12 hour shifts is that most medical mistakes and accidents happen because of shift changes. Reducing the number of shift changes from 3 to 2 results in fewer mistakes, despite longer working hours.

He likes to throw out technical terms to impress people with how knowledgeable he is. Those who actually have knowledge can see how miserably clueless he is and laugh at him, but the public don’t see that.

You could have vertical task bar in vanilla windows 10. They took it out in 11 because fuck you, presumably.

Great. Now can we have the option for a vertical task bar back?

/r/hailcorporate was underestimating it if anything.

One of the examples of its brilliance is how he found a site he visited yesterday by typing in a question for the AI rather than pressing CTRL-H. I guess it is designed for people who type “Google” into the search bar of their browser and then double click on the link.

The Express is not a reliable source for information. It’s a shitty right-wing rag that just makes shit up.

What is the “A” in “AITM”?

They are tidy elegant designs of cups and dosing bowls (for measuring coffee bean quantities) for coffee enthusiasts. They are also designs that could be made by conventional means, so not really insane at all.

This looks like a good way to bring power to a remote area, and China has lots of those.

The 1.0.x versions have been rock solid for me. I like using it, but that might just be the Stockholm syndrome kicking in.
I remember the days before hardware random number generators, when pseudo random number generators caused fuck ups by not actually being random. Now people are re-inventing the stupid way of doing it with AI.
