Like most of my streamimg is the cheaper ad versions, regular commwrcuals, usually not meaningful, sometimes a bathroom break.

My daughter watches Youtube for music sometimes on the TV though. Good god those are the WORST “ads”. So many try to be like 10 minutes long unless you skip. Many feel like some random peraon reading from a card, production quality all around is ass.

I can’t change the DNS on the router or TV and keep meaning to set up a new router to block the TV ads through DNS.

Yeah, and we have led to a race to the bottom in a war against ads that everyone hates.

Short term bull shit for long term death.

They could hire some people to vet the ads.

I am fine if it means I don’t have to watch some scam ass ad.

What I don’t understand. Like, they know people hate shitty ads.

If they had like, literally any level of vetting on the ads, people might actually watch them. But its all fucking scams or podcasts of lies pretending to be ads etc.

I know it costs money to have people but sales people serve a purpose.

They can, get a set with numbers ane arrows, move the arrow each time you pass.

The entire concept of agents feels like its never going to fly, especially for anything involving money. I am not going to tell and AI I want to bake a cake and trust that will find the correct ingredients at the right price and the door dash them to me.

Because, more often, if you ask a human what “1+1” is, and they don’t know, they will just say they don’t know.

AI will confidently insist its 3, and make up math algorythms to prove it.

And every company is pushing AI out on everyone like its always 10000% correct.

Its also shown its not intelligent. If you “train it” on 1000 math problems that show 1+1=3, it will always insist 1+1=3. It does not actually know how to add numbers, despite being a computer.

I find its good at making simple Python scripts.

But also, as I evolve them, it starts randomly omitting previous functions. So it helps to k ow what you are doing at least a bit to catch that.
