Thanks, feels good 👍

I prefer Firefox, so I was using that as default browser. Windows asked me every fucking time I started my laptop if I wanted to use edge as default. Sometimes it just went ahead and made the change anyway. Windows was consuming loads of my download data, fuck knows what for. Then the copilot stuff. Finally installed mint and feel like I got my laptop back.

Too little too late. They’re right tho

Yeah, or dick pills.

I gotta spoon . . ?

I bet the bastards have already wondered
"Hmm, if this works maybe we can do all life on earth next . . ?
“We’ll make all the money!”

Similar vein to forbidden snacks was don’t put your dick in that. Yeah I miss the niche subs too, don’t miss the rest of the bullshit tho.
E. Ask historians was also high grade.

**PRESS RELEASE **
I have done some gardening this morning. I now intend to finish my cup of tea, take a shit, and play some computer games. My day off is proceeding normally. Further details to follow.

Personally, I’d be happy to see more users, particularly in the niche groups which are often dead as a dead thing. I don’t want the bots tho, and I’m thinking that gen AI has probably made the fuckers pretty plausible and hard to identify.

Didn’t realise you could do it locally, just checked online and there’s several options. So why are these fuckers building huge, resource-greedy data centres. . ?

Oh I forgot about the windows phone os, the one with the tiles. Yeah that was pretty decent, shame it didn’t get the support it needed.

And a pay rise! And a rimjob from my department manager!
It’s weird, but that shit intimidates non technical people, and there are a lot of them. It would need better if it says something like ‘Click on the flag of the country closest to where you live’ or something like that.
Linux seems to have managed to do this - I recently did I mint install on my laptop, it was all GUI, no arcane jargon, no need to use the console, really well optimised for the non-technical folk. You’d be surprised how many people see ‘server’ and think ‘I don’t have one of those, and I don’t think I want one’.

In a few years there will be shit loads of irrelevant AI crap that no-one will be able to use because they can’t buy devices. These AI companies seem like a predator that goes extinct because it has eaten all its potential prey.

I mean, financially, yeah I think so. Which is ironic, since as a person he’s worth about as much as a large turd in a small bag.

My tech knowledge is not at all current, recently got sick of windows BS and installed linux mint on my laptop. The whole process was really easy, didn’t have to use command prompt at all or understand any arcane technical terms. It was actually easier and more accessible than windows.

Was this the thing with legless avatars from the uncanny valley? No idea how they wasted so much money - they’d have done better to employ a good gaming studio to make something fun that looked good. Could have saved billions there.

Not just a wanker, also a pea-brained gibbering dicksplat.
Yeah mean, yeah, probably. But I felt like they’d find a way round it in a month or so, or find something new to aggravate me with. It was getting like whack a mole.
