I’m with you, just saying there are ways around your problem by using intermediary assets when selling.

Then swap it to something that the ones you find reputable accepts. If you play it right, you may even gain a little by watching exchange rates.

The way email forwarding works is: email is being received in full (by Google in your case), they look up processing rules, and send a copy to your Proton account, then optionally delete it.
The only thing you protect yourself from this way is Google knowing your IP address every time you check email. They have seen the contents and all headers of forwarded messages.
There are so many esim providers with websites, use one of these instead. Search “(destination country) esim” in your favourite search engine. You will be presented with a QR code at the end, scan it with your phone (while still in your country or within WiFi range) and you’re done.

Private from what? Google sees the forwarded emails anyway.
Oh wow holy shit after all these years I learned this. Thank you!
How? I’m on LOS right now.
Almost every firewall app on F-Droid has it. What Graphene brings to the take is that you don’t need root for that.

Yes, I definitely had a long term strategy when posting an internet comment.
But please do elaborate what my “stance on general purpose computing” is? Genuinely curious.
My feeling is you’re pro general purpose computing and against censorship. Which is why it’s strange to see you make fun of a provider for not censoring their product enough. I was referring only to that part of the article.
I see your stand from the comment above though, I’m not going to argue that. Peace.

There wasn’t, but it’s not the first article you wrote that I read, and I know your stance on general purpose computing. Why is a general purpose language model somehow a bigger problem?

that is so hilariously unsafe that its guardrails can be subverted by a tactic a 13-year-old uses when they want to prank-call someone. And that Anthropic refuses to take responsibility for that unsafe product.
We should ban general computing too, it’s scary how unsafe these things are!

https://rss-bridge.org/ does a somewhat acceptable job at it if you look from the perspective of someone who used the app before, or an outstanding job if you come from the perspective of someone who never had an account and clicked links to instagram only to see giant popups and errors.
Cura publishes nice Appimages

Dude had a problem with Framework supporting a politically dubtious FOSS project so he went with HP as the morally superior choice 😆

I do, yes. But people are renovating and modernizing their homes and I don’t know anyone who chose induction - they are available here, and so is electricity.

It’s called disaster preparedness

Europe, I’ve seen induction only in airbnbs, everyone has gas at home
Boo! It’s a tool I use every day, sad to hear it’s no longer being developed.

OsmAnd works just fine offline
Only the first build is so slow, the subsequent ones with new updates are a few minutes each.
