What’s the point of even having the 4th Amendment when corporations can completely sidestep it and tell the government exactly what you’re doing all the time? Corporations and the government are essentially the same entity with this massive loophole.
I can forgive and even cheer the absolute bare bones amenities it offers including no telemetry for the price. The hardest pill to swallow is the lackluster battery range and max charge rate.
The world around us is shaped to serve the human figure. Steps, stairs, gaps between surfaces, ladders, and obstacles on the ground would be near impossible to navigate using wheels. Instead of changing the environment it’d be easier to make a humanoid robot that can navigate those things the same way we would.
Cameras should never be facing the inside of a vehicle, ever. I don’t care if it’s for “safety”, get rid of these surveillance tools. There’s a reason the Chinese government won’t allow Teslas anywhere near military installations. Always assume everything we say and do in those cabins is being recorded for the benefit of corporations and governments but never for you. You are the product in a vehicle you purchased.

Is there any reason to use ReVanced when you can browse YouTube on Android’s Firefox with uBlock Origin installed? It seems to work about the same but you can also run other extensions like DeArrow and Sponsor Block. It can even stream at 4k for some videos.
Those Xilinx USB programmers are such a pain in the ass to use. They tend to work fine like 95% of the time but the other 5% just refuse to work.
AI as customer service is shit. I wasted an entire day waiting for an electrician to show up while the clanker I was texting to kept reassuring me the techs were on the way. They were supposed to arrive at 4 and by the time I gave up on the company it was 10. It turned out it never even alerted the techs to show up at my property. Humans are way better even if you have to wait for them to call back, they can be held accountable at least.

Agreed. I had to wait months for v1.1 to drop because I was having graphic display issues on CachyOS. It still glitches out when I’m trying to select sketch surfaces and even crashes too often for my comfort. The promise is there, it’s just that the execution needs a little more time so I could finish migrating from Solidworks.

This is a culmination of years in which gamers kept getting ignored when they ask for some consideration to their needs like more memory, better Linux drivers, and smaller form factors. Instead we get hit with their server farm AI slop runoff and told this is what we want. To me it’s an insult for wanting something that’s more specialized to gaming and graphical work rather than some LLM platform.
