Groupware?

I tried Nextcloud. I didn’t find it great for syncing files. I’m the only user of the server and keep getting merge conflicts.
Moved to OpenCloud which has been much more stable, if not as feature rich.
What phone? I might try it out since I feel like tinkering.

I never understand people like the OP. It’s been proven that US and Japanese cars spy on you, but they then criticise China.
Only difference is where the data ends up. If it’s in China you probably have more privacy at home.

In my company they allow you to use duo key as alternate. I’m guessing your company doesn’t? Could be worth asking.

I was helping a co worker with a windows issue. Tried opening task manager. Took 30 minutes to open. And during that time we were able to open chrome and browse the web for suggestions on how to fix.
What a load of crap… task manager was always top priority to open and lightweight enough to open fast.

Yeah. Like they are trying to show the AI is more powerful than it is.
I don’t use AI that much, does this use case actually happen? Where the AI does something then apologises?

I feel out of touch. I have no idea what ycombinator is. I’ve always thought it was just a spam website and ignored it!

I remember 8 being a cluster fuck. But 8.1 was ok.
I had a windows phone at the time. Those were great.

No. 8.1 maybe. But not 8

Yep. Ideal future is robots do all the work for us while we enjoy life.
But realistic future is rich people enjoy life while normal people starve.

Im currently using photoprism. Any reason I should change?

I prefer Fedora. Tried mint and hated it.

It will upgrade an existing install. I did it on my surface and all my files and settings were kept.

The irony wasn’t lost on me. Since I was trying to update my surface. I’ve also installed Linux on it. Which runs a lot faster on the older Surface Nook 1 harder.

There is a way to upgrade directly. I got this from Reddit
https://www.reddit.com/r/Surface/comments/1afu0uj/is_it_safe_to_install_windows_11_on_my_microsoft/
It works fine - you just won’t get the more advanced security features available in more recent laptops.
.\sources\setupprep.exe /product server
This will not actually install the server version of windows but will bypass the CPU check so that you can install Win11 on an unsupported CPU. The actual version of Windows installed will depend on the version of Win10 you have: Pro, Home, or Enterprise, for example.
Do you kiss your mother with that mouth!
I think you mean “jeuuu fucking chriut“
It’s too powerful and we need more money to contain it!
