Im mostly speculating but the stuff that comes to mind is hunting, fishing, weather, private space company, shipping company (air and sea), and tbh even military contracting firms are also considered private commercial businesses. Radar is super useful if you can afford it

Yes. This suggestion is for folks that are tired of constant ads. Not folks that are already doing what i just suggested lol
The fun part is that they dnt even need to listen for this. They track everything you search, link it to your phones ip, number, and location. But it doesnt stop there. They know people will talk to the people they are around.
So if person A searches something 2 days ago and then goes to hang out with person B who has similar interests, they will serve ads about those products to person B because they figure it will be relevant at some point. Basically, the prediction software is so good that it comes off as listening to every word you said.
They are def also listening, but this is more often what is happening. Use a vpn and privacy focused browser and you will notice the relevance of ads drop significantly
Yes. They can precision kill a single person at a busy cafe remotely and have heat vision and can work nearly seamlessly in swarms. Very short indeed

I use a mozilla browser with ublock on mobile and it works fine. Sometimes i have to shuffle my vpn around but its not very common
Currently, most of the 30 sec+ ads let you skip them after 5 seconds or so. Seems like that is going away. I dont think they are injecting ads directly into videos yet, so ad block should still work
I like nebula but it is pretty limited. Its mostly educational and essay type stuff. For the price it is amazing and the only streaming platform i have anymore. But i dont know if id call it a youtube alt unless you only watch that type of video. They have a handful of other things too but the variety just isnt there yet. The other thing i both like and dislike is the lack of comments.
I do recommend it though. Crazy affordable, owned by the creators, ad free. Just kind of niche still

I just use bandcamp and cds for most stuff. If its out of print or unavailable outside of streaming (i listen to a lot of indie pop), i just rip it offline. Not my fault they dont make it easy to get legitimately.

People set up feed traps in areas that its allowed. You could have a cam facing the trap and a radar nearby so you know if its just a single deer that triggered the cam or a member of a herd. Still just speculating. I dont hunt
