But can I hook it to HA and have mosquitto send me notifications of my thoughts?

Keep section 230. Treat any service that uses recommendation or engagement algorithms as publishers.

Is it $30/month on top of Xbox gold or does the game pass include it?

Something as easy as stremio but for music. Connect to listenbrainz instead of trakt. Then only serve from the spotify collection because of their extensive metadata. With multi device sign in and syncing like stremio. Then a Kodi add on for the libreelec people.

like the LLM that was finding cancers and people were initially impressed but then they figured out the LLM had just correlated a DR’s name on the scan to a high likelihood of cancer. Once the complicating data point was removed, the LLM no longer performed impressively. Point #2 is very Goodhart’s law adjacent.

You can use it as a smb server and mount it with your other devices. They have an official addon for it with samba in the name.

How many sugar cubes of plastic just to rough one up a bit?
Cool thanks!
I had a VCR and remember tv guide. What did these codes do.

I used to use an app with what I assume is a similar method. I had to turn it off to use my VPN but otherwise liked it. Giving this guy a go

If he had diplomatic immunity, he didn’t claim it as far as I’ve seen. He was given a date for appearance before the judge so they could have held him until then with no problem. I agree they didn’t want to make an incident of it but it wouldn’t have involved the ICC.

They are paid services. The ad companies pay the services for access to the services resources.

Good on chrome I guess but if they are testing blocking js then I assume they are about to offer a less easy to block alternative

Maybe the whole corporate internet. Unless we’re forced into aol style portals by the death of net neutrality i think most of the lemmy user base will be fine. Shout-out to /c/selfhosted for those looking to get ahead of the permission gate.

This is sad to me. When I was younger and would get lonely enough I’d go to a bar and talk to strangers. When I was a little bit older I would just post on social. Neither of those things are particularly useful or productive but they at least involved other people. I’m glad I wasn’t being targeted with ads about how great AI is and reading articles about its effectiveness (nyt [i think] had one in the last few days.) I’m an introverted person and it used to take a good bit of discomfort to get me out and talking to people. If I had something that provided a good enough simulacrum of social contact without the anxieties and weirdness that can come from talking to strangers I think my life would be very different. It’s important to spread awareness of the dangers of robosexuality
I think the problem with mass adoption of that kind of anti surveillance tech is that most people will not trade the convenience of being able to take pictures of themselves for the privacy of other people not being able to take pictures of them. Even if it’s a toggle switch.
