Edit: Read the article, it sounds like it’s a closed loop system that should be environmentally safe. But it can’t be that easy. They make it seem like they found the holy grail. Nothing is ever this easy and good. Prove me wrong?

The funny thing is that Utah has some of the worst air pollution in the world. Yet they keep pushing to make it worse. I remember a couple of years ago in summer doctors in the state beg government to restrict private cars till the air problem clear up and the gov told them to fuck off.

On a more practical level, why???

It takes an enormous amount of ultra pure water to make a micro chip. There is a worsening water shortage in that area. This is the worse place to do this.

Also if you built it in the eu, you have easy access to a huge market and ready customers.
Also the Middle East is constantly immersed in war. If Iran wants to really hurt Israel just start blowing up Nvidia.

On a purely practical level, this is really stupid. So the only explanations are politics, or they are being paid to do this. As to whom engineered this I have no idea.

I’ve been testing the different ai models for a while. they are absolutely terrified of offending trump and maga. They generate pages of gaslighting crap rather than give a straight answer.

And that is on top of their inherit inability to give an accurate answer. I asked about medicare IRMAA income brackets, and it just made numbers up. Luckily I knew the answer before I asked.
