BeReal and Soundcloud are huge commercial and proprietary services. The criteria on the left are quite misleading, when not applied to all applications that are recommended.
Trust is good, control is not better.
This looks shady. Clearing your trash has nothing to do with enhancing your privacy and while some things are useful, like Firefox settings they are mixed with other useless things. And I also wouldn’t recommend running random scripts from the internet.
Stop promoting this unprofessional app.

I’d say both is true. If I need a quick meal I’m glad I can just order something ready-made, but I also enjoy to cook an intricate meal for hours. OP is maybe worried that people forget about the latter and only prefer the ready-made solution.
