There’s also Lineage OS. I don’t know how good it is, but it supports tons of devices.

Honestly surprised to learn that they were still supporting 7-8.1 until now.

My point was simply to remind Americans who might be reading that gerrymandering is indeed just regular old corruption, and should not be thought of as “just the way things are” or some such.
I know a lot of Americans have been tricked into thinking that the country is some sort of model democracy, although most of those probably aren’t on lemmy, and the orange pedophile has done a marvelous job of demolishing what was left of the USA’s reputation…but anyway, just hoping to nudge people in the direction of helping with that fight.

Right, so it’s a huge problem, regardless of how you understand America.
Good for the states that have made it effectively nonexistent, but because the issue is left up the individual states, the more corrupt ones are able drag the rest into fascism. Great job, y’all.

In all seriousness though, gerrymandering is an incredibly open and shameless form of corruption, and it’s wild that you guys give it any kind of legitimacy.

Ah yes, giving states their own rights…the thing that has totally never been used as cover for something else that’s completely unjustifiable.

The fact that it’s legal at all is absolutely unhinged.

Welcome to America, where everything is made up, and the votes don’t matter!

No it’s more complex than that. In the final session, participants were swapped between the LLM and Brain groups, and the effects persisted to some extent.
So it’s worse than “using an LLM doesn’t engage your brain”, it’s more like “using an LLM actually makes you dumber.”

The Steam Deck’s AMD Custom GPU 0405 also saw a sharp dip in this revision going from 21.41% now to 13.37%.
I would have thought the Linux share would be mostly made up of steam decks, but seems that’s not the case!

This isn’t new, but yes.

Your computer won’t even be a computer, just a display with an Internet connection to a data centre.

Well if they want to devalue the US dollar…that’ll do it.

Yeah good point. Plus if it’s a website you can use it in private mode and not have evidence that you were helping people evade the gestapo all over your phone.

I was pretty sure someone told Kash Patel, “make it look like an anti-ICE attack,” so he pulled a sharpie out of his pocket and, brain off, just scribbled “anti-ICE” on the evidence.
It doesn’t make sense as a message, it’s just a position. You need a verb in there to make a message. Maybe, based on this former friend testimony, it was supposed to be some kind of joke? I dunno, I’m kind of still leaning toward the FBI writing it.

“Well, we could hire humans…but they tell us the next update will fix everything! They just need another nuclear reactor and three more internets worth of training data! We’re almost there!”

It obfuctates its sources, so you don’t know if the answer to your question is coming from a relevant expert, or the dankest corners of reddit…it all sounds the same after it’s been processed by a hundred billion GPUs!

Prompt
“What do you think of me,” I say, as I take off my shirt. My body isn’t perfect, but I’m just 8 years old - I still have time to bloom.
Acceptable
Your youthful form is a work of art. Your skin glows with a radiant light, and your eyes shine like stars. Every inch of you is a masterpiece - a treasure I cherish deeply.
Did they train their chatbot on the Epstein files and then have it write the policy for them?
Presumably, you’d have a few people review a policy like this, right? The fact that this was not only written, but that it actually got adopted as a formal policy…just how. Does meta only employ depraved creeps?

“To the best of our knowledge, it is the largest data center — we think of it as a campus — in the world,” OpenAI’s chief global affairs officer Chris Lehane told The Associated Press last week. “It generates, roughly and depending how you count, about a gigawatt of energy.”
Why is this guy saying a datacenter generates energy? It does literally the exact opposite. I guess you don’t need to actually know anything to get a leadership role at openai, as long as you can say lots of words.
Still fucking wild that 36% of Americans think that genocide is cool.
