No it doesn’t. I use Librewolf and this common refrain is FUD.
Particularly since their output cannot be copyrighted. A project that takes FLOSS licensing as seriously as Debian does can’t just throw caution to the wind and start allowing code with no attribution, copyright or licence.

For every $x of increased revenue that the AI company gets from their customer whose chatbot is being abused you would have to also use $x of tokens from the free trials of that same AI company.

15·1 month agoThe false positives are going to be tremendously dangerous to the falsely accused, as there is no way to either prove or disprove the charge. It’s just a case of “computer says you’re 99% likely to be the same person.”
I’ve been waiting for something like this to appear. Not just a “plagiarism detector” but something that actually identifies the data in the training pool that most closely represent a particular AI model output. You could do the same for text and images too, and I’m surprised this is the first one that I’ve heard of.
I’m not a fan of the MAFIAA but if this type of reverse-search tech can hold AI companies to account then it’s a step towards reining them in.

So you’re saying that when looking for a correlation between age of the father and prevalence of autism of the child, you need to account for the confounding factor of heritability since among a population of fathers who are older, there will be a higher prevalence of autism than in a population of fathers of an even distribution of ages (the general population) due to the social factor.
Sounds like a reasonable and logical take. Are you aware of any studies that show this or is it your own hypothesis?
