It’s DNS-blocked e.g. in Germany (german source). Try it with a proper DNS resolver. E.g. 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1

Pixel 8a on stock here. I have no idea what @Hawk is talking about. I just install any app, that I want. I might had to alter some settings, to do it, but I don’t remember doing that.

So they should overproduce just in case? All I care about as a consumer is that I can buy replacement parts.
