do a blind test between ogg 320kbps which Spotify premium uses and FLAC and tell me your score then
my point is, if you’re not working on that audio, there is no audible difference between two

why all this fuss about lossless audio? Spotify premium is literally indistinguishable from lossless audio for 99.9% of the population and songs (because not all songs will be lossless or are even mastered in a way that makes a difference). granted if…
you may hear a difference. if you think otherwise, then do a lossy vs lossless blind test and be impressed that you actually cannot hear the difference most of the time (especially without actively looking for the artifacts)

such a large statement with such little evidence

It wouldn’t say corruption, I think it’s more that the law around the road was designed with a driver in mind, not with a company or even a robot. the consequences have been thought to hurt a person at fault because at the time only a person could drive

this would get a normal person’s car impounded and drivers license revoked. why can a company get away with it?

here we go again with he tariffs. his friends made back some money after the last crash he caused so now he can go back to crashing it

To let you skip the article, they are pausing sales to the USA on the base models of the framework 13, presumably because those are their lowest margin models. The two affected SKUs for the moment are the Intel 125H and Ryzen 7640U

That’s actually a good change. “Parody” accounts have spread uncountable amounts of misinformation during the last election. I remember some time ago there was a Justin Trudeau “parody” account that was obviously controlled by a very right wing person because they kept posting fake shit under the name of Trudeau

Something interesting about this is that this is because of a legal loophole in texas that says that if the ATM gets taken away, it gives the business the right to shoot one and exactly one person at sight. This law was passed by trump in 2017 according to the guardian https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/jul/22/trump-new-law-atm-shoot-one-person and according to the new york times as well https://www.nytimes.com/2017/07/22/politics/trump-atm-shooting-law.html

Every affected company should be extremely thankful that this was an accidental bug, because if crowdstrike gets hacked, it means the bad actors could basically ransom I don’t know how many millions of computers overnight
Not to mention that crowdstrike will now be a massive target from hackers trying to do exactly this

Idk for most people, but the reason I use proton mail is to avoid google parsing everything I receive to send me ads. I “have nothing to hide” on a legal pov, I’m not a criminal, the worst offence I do is like Jay walking or crossing at a red light on foot when there is no one at midnight. I don’t use proton services to protect myself from the law (or in other words to avoid the consequences of my acts), I just want to be a customer instead of a product.
easy, go at an ATM, get 20$ bills, and then ask people (friends, cashier etc) to change it for smaller or larger bills
