He has already meddled in the Ukraine war doing things like this, too. He turned off Starlink during an offensive Ukrainian mission. He claims he had to because civilian systems aren’t allowed to be used for a foreign incursion into Russia and that he’d face consequences. Which is a complete lie.

It’s not secure either. The next world war will involve efforts to sabotage satellites.

California just passed a bill that caps HOA fines at $100 per offense. (iirc). Meaning if you want to paint the house purple and the HOA doesnt allow it, you pay the $100 fine and move on. It is effectively going to completely neuter HOAs.

The MAGA base even admits as much. They say if we change the tax system, the wealthy will just leave. Capitalism is purely about profit and patriotism and national unity are only useful insofar as being a tool to ensure the money keeps flowing in.

That and the fact that these people aren’t patriots. They’re looters. They don’t believe in America per se. They believe in the economic system that advantages them and disadvantages others. It’s just that simple. America is no longer a land of opportunity. Perpetual poverty is their goal. Keeping people down is the point.

If our CEOs and business leaders are supposedly the world’s best, why didn’t they spent their capital shutting China down instead of their lavish lifestyles and payouts for their wealthy stockholders? I guess they aren’t as good at running businesses as they claim to be.

I left Reddit today. I’m not looking back. I’m absolutely done with these organizations that bow to fascist whimsy and demands. Pathetic stuff from Steve and the admins at Reddit. I hope their stock tanks and they lose their ass.
