Eh, the Japanese really like their way of life. They don’t want their culture to change. If they’d rather disappear from the face of the Earth than accepting foreigners, I think they’re free to do so. Personally, as a Japanese-Canadian, I think it’s stupid and they should at least allow dual citizenship so they’d get “immigrants” with actual ties to the country, but they don’t even wanna do that. You should, it has a great library. It’s also so easy to hack and download old games. Basically has a free appstore of games from the 3DS, DS, and GBA eras.

I’m doing the same and streaming my experience. I bought a Retrofreak and playing a bunch of obscure Japanese famicom, superfamicom, sega mark iii, master system, mega drive, game gear, game boy, gba, and finally pc-engine games. I live right next to a used game store too. It’s so great. I haven’t bought a new PC game for myself in about a year (I buy switch games for my kids).

Oh! I also hacked my 3ds lately so I’m playing a bunch of games on that too.

Aren’t they hardware focused? I don’t use any of their products but I keep hearing praise about their M chips and their general build quality. Their phones seem pretty solid too; although, I guess you might not be getting the best bang for your buck when comparing features side-by-side.

But their fans keep eating the shit so it doesn’t matter.

Uplifting news

I don’t consider myself to be an advanced PC user, but even I was able to get Arch Linux to run with some googling and tinkering as my first dive into Linux. I really think you should make the switch if you don’t have any work restrictions. I dualboot still, just in case, but I can’t remember the last time I needed to use Windows.

Like you and the others say, if you have limited time gaming or don’t play AAA on launch day, that’s just one more reason not to use Windows! Good luck!
