My experience is a Framework 16 I dont personally own, however I do have a T440p and build quality simply seems superior. I vastly prefer a durable and hard plastic above a thin mental sheet that bends.

Framework is more repairable but Thinkpads simply have superior build quality with less issues.

I highly doubt it

There are a few key issues with mobile Linux:

1. UIs that have simply not gotten any attention
2. A severe lack of decent hardware
3. Scaled down desktop apps on a phone (seriously who thought this was a good idea)
4. No security whatsoever
5. Basic features missing or requiring a significant degree of tinkering to get working such as audio or calling

Apple is basically the default (at least in the US) so if Android cant offer significantly more theres not much reason to use it

Blaming the flipper zero for hacking is like blaming lockpicking tools for why masterlock sucks so much.

I hope every CEO and executive dumb enough to invest in AI looses their job with no golden parachute. AI is a grand example of how capitalism is ran by a select few unaccountable people who are not mastermind geniuses but utter dumbfucks.

My point is its absolutely absurd to yell that AOSP is dead because GOOGLE SPECIFIC files such as device trees and firmware files (that maybe one or two other oems regularly distribute) and just jump ship to a platform arguably over a decade behind. Are there concerns? Yes, but those concerns are absolutely nowhere near close to justify the absolute mess the mobile linux space is in. It would be like if amazon packages starting arriving a day late and we all switched to aliexpress.

We arent even close to developers considering implementing the frameworks to potentially start working on implementing that.

GraphineOS didn’t start over from scratch for no reason nor did LineageOS so they dont need billions of dollars in funding, if you want to do everything youself then yeah its gonna cost that much.

Have you acturally tried Postmarketos or any mobile Linux interface? I have and its just a scaled down Linux desktop.
