exactly this. Spreadsheets are so simple to understand that people think and communicate in spreadsheets. Managers don’t understand how much they fucking love them. Its like a cult. They make everybody meet 5 times a week to look at various spreadsheets together. And don’t see how ineffective they often are.

i agree that AI is a bubble of trash but shutting off a part that wasn’t worth the cost is not an indication of an end. They just reduced cost to extend the financial runway. From my point of view text and coding were more popular anyway.

Munich went open source / Linux a couple of years ago, ditching Microsoft. Using a big budget to convert everything and support employees etc. It was a huge act.
…Then they went back to Microsoft in yet another huge act, using a big budget. And then never revealed the budget for the last one. Which is really weird, considering its public money.

funny i bought exactly the same CPU and GPU half a year ago. Someone in my city sold these for 200€.
I was going to go for an AM5 board and everything, but couldn’t afford it. My older parts were from 2016 and not even terrible. Its funny how little the hardware requirements have changed in the games and OS area. I am still using the same 16g RAM and PSU from 2016.
A couple of peaks of unknown seem to match very nicely with the windows graph, if you invert it. I think the two big windows crashes we see are measuring differences or re-categorization effects. … or how about brand new or discontinued versions of windows, that were not counted as windows yet?
German here: you can use “Führer” only with specific other context. There could be for example “Gruppenführer” -> the leader of a group. Or “Anführer” -> could be the elder of a tribe. If you clearly use it in a neutral context, no problem.
But if you use it just like that, it will immediately raise concern if you really meant to say it this way.
