They’re messing with Gmail, Google Sheets and Calendar a bit much for my comfort, my business relies on these to work with no change to any part of the product and perfectly. Adding non deterministic tools to these is them walking on a tight rope as I won’t be dealing with fallout from the mistakes and issues caused due to Google spiking unsolicited non opt out “features” to my business workflow.

And also humans who don’t bother developing their intelligence or behave better.

2GB is a lot

Yes true, but cd’s don’t deteriorate as fast. I’m using cds (cheap and not the best) from 90s and the data is still perfectly readable. I do understand it won’t work for many cases now though.

Still better use than take aways, product wrappers, glitter and plastic lined paper.

Many draft ideas that I have come across for a slightly moderate difficulty projects have been mostly unworkable when you actually go to do it.

Don’t bank on the bubble bursting. The real customers big paying customers are not retail but governments who would like live fine tuned summaries of all their citizens. AI is a dual use technology.

I know right. Haven’t used Microsoft since 2013 and I’m discouraging every employee who is used to their products to not install them on work computers. A lot of people resist learning OSS but being in the management I do my bit for avoiding what I may claim to be unconsented malware on our systems.
