It also does some niceties around fonts when you do a conversion. Some ebook readers dont come with specific fonts so they just use the inbuilt one(s).

Just FYI, older Kobos are exceptionally easy to repair and modify. They used to have an SD card as the hd you could remove and do all sorts of cool things with. They also published the version of the linux kernel they used and any modifications they (Kobo) devs had to do to get things working. It was awesome for a time. Its more locked down now… :(
I used to play around with https://quill-os.org/ and it worked decently well on kobo until the newer versions started to crack down on the mod scene.
Nowadays im thinking the open book or Diptyx E-Reader might be a better bet for long term sustainability. Its great ifixit is working with kobo, but the software is still locked down.
For a bigger list take a look: https://itsfoss.com/open-source-ebook-readers-options/

Fantastic talk. Also on peertube :)

Im seeing more ads getting through ublock origin.

Nice, those are the fun ones.
I wish people were kinder at times.

In my local city, people die every year getting ran over on a bike. I knew a dr who didnt make it.
I got close-lined off my bike once around 2017. Its part of the gang initiation to send someone to the hospital. I have a dent in my nose because of it.
Its MUCH more dangerous in my area than most places though.

I remember the last time gas prices went through the roof.
I was riding my bike with my wife, going to the goshery store. A guy yelled out of his truck. I was like here we go…(im used to harassment on bikes). He said “Yeah! Stick it to em!”
We were just poor at the time, but it made our day haha.
oh neat! Thanks! I hope it goes far.
Ive played around with it. Its VERY hard to set up…but it actually does what it says better than other platforms in the lora space.
Also its not being updated anymore unfortunately. Its a monumental achievement for any one person to make. Im hoping the community can take a look at some point. With HaLow coming together, it would be cool if we get integration at some point.

A/B testing is showing they are going after people with ad blockers: https://www.dexerto.com/youtube/youtube-is-apparently-punishing-ad-blockers-by-hiding-comment-section-3320581/ But your specific combo seems good.

Neat clipper tool!

Oh wait sorry for some reason the interface didnt load the first comment. I dodnt see the context. Woops!

I have one. It has no issues with calling, video, ect…
It works in the states as well. And all apps too. I guess my only complaint is parts are getting hard to come by for fairphone 4. Which is why i bought the phone, to be repairable.
Ive had a couple of these. I find that the jack itself sometimes will not work or the audio is VERY bad. The last one I got was for 10$ and seemed to do the trick. But it took 3 tries to find an adapter that didnt have an issue.
One I bought at wallmart, one at amazon, one at an audio-store. The final one was given to me and worked first try! I thought it was my usbc adapter until that point on my phone…but my steam deck had the same issues with the usb-c to audio jack.
I wonder if companies are cheaping out with the components since its a small market. Audiophiles are going to default to using audio-jack. And consumers are just getting bluetooth whatevers. People that want ot direct connect usbc are not the norm. Or at least thats what it feels like to me.
I would pay for a company to come out with one of these pre-loaded onto a Fairphone. Seriously.
Nice!
