GOS’s argument over the attestation is that it’s essentially the same as Google’s system. It approves the devices themselves regardless of their security. An approved device isn’t more secure in any way just because it’s on the list. It’s just a way of arbitrarily excluding any OS that they don’t like while still allowing devices that are obsolete or behind on security updates.

Yes the word for cat is “chat” but the word for chat, in the online sense is also “chat” and it’s pronounced like the English word. It should also be capitalised because it’s a proper noun, eliminating the ambiguity that may exist.

IMO switching to Linux as a new user is no harder than switching from Windows to Mac, which I think is something more people can identify with and aren’t afraid of, for the most part.

Those sellers post their stuff on every marketplace they can, and just fulfill it through their Amazon store. Ebay, Etsy, Walmart, Best Buy, etc, are all full of Amazon sellers.
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree supports.

The issue is not whether people are willing to do it, but whether they should be allowed to.
I can’t think of any situation where disallowing people from repairing their own property makes any sense. The only ones it makes sense to are the ones who profit from it.
Honestly, the most complicated part is getting the install media ready to go.
Once the installer starts, you’re just answering prompts like the local username and password you want, language and keyboard layout, and time zone, and it does the rest on its own.
Then the computer reboots, and you end up on the desktop of a fully usable computer. Most distros will have a one-time popup welcoming you and maybe leading you to some Flatpak “store” where you can search for free apps to install.

It grew because it was the only platform that did it.
If you want views, you have to go where the viewers are. Current alternatives are sorely lacking.
If you want the smaller platforms to grow, you do need to post there, but ignoring the existing giant won’t get you seen unfortunately. At the very least, you should do both.

They’re neat.

It’s a bag of holding, of course!

It’s definitely possible. Depending on the budget, you can take the helmet to a professional that does 3D fabrication.
I’d say the first step should be to find a local maker space and see if anyone there can help you. Most will have 3d printers, and some might have 3d scanners. If they don’t, maybe someone there personally owns one.
She’s not in congress, afaik

I was wondering how they even got any. I was under the impression that DNA doesn’t last that long.

So… how long does it take before a company stops being called a startup?

People are on Facebook because that’s where everyone already is. They won’t leave because then they lose contact with all those people.

“Nationalized” with a heavy dose of quote marks. The government now owns about 10% of Intel in non-voting shares. It’s basically meaningless.

You can often change your IP by rebooting your router. So the only way an IP ban can really work is when you start banning blocks of IPs, but that can hit other people who have no reason to be banned.
VPNs also aren’t always slower, though they often are. They change the route your packets take, which could have fewer hops to get to their destination, or could have faster connections in some places compared to your standard route.

That was my point. The comment I was replying to was suggesting that people switching from Spotify will be blown away by better quality audio. Most wouldn’t notice a difference.
I might go hardcore and build a welded frame for it.
