Edit, sorry, misread your comment, my reply was irrelevant.

But currently all my passwords are in password store. Looking into alternatives. I like the idea of keepass because it’s still local. But I also pay for proton, so might use theirs. They weren’t susceptible in the recent attacks

This is about to go belly up IIRC. openPGP is infighting, splitting into two projects, password-store hasn’t been updated in a decade. It’ll lose compatibility.

That’s why I liked password store, no servers, just my encrypted password files on my own computer, that I sync over to my other devices.
Apparently it’s dying soon through, so I need an alternative.

Too late

This isn’t referring to the flock thing, they put out a commercial in the Superbowl about creating a cam-network to help find lost pets.

Just ordered a set of reolink cameras to replace all our ring stuff.

Me and my people are moving to stoat. They’re having some growing pains right now, but I’m sure it’ll smooth out.

As I understand it, you should be fine unless that server is doing 18+ stuff. Don’t verify, discord will assume you’re a teenager. I’m leaving because I don’t have any ties like that. Maybe you could convince the server to move elsewhere?
I tried it once after stumbling on the fact it existed when searching the software bazaar for cad programs. I did okay, using it. But couldn’t get a firm grasp on certain things. Here’s a stand for my work laptop that I used openSCAD to create.

Next I’m gonna try the one suggested by the other commenter: https://build123d.readthedocs.io/en/latest/
Thanks for this, tried openscad once for a real project. Did okay, but it’s a pretty steep learning curve. Will try this next.

I honestly didn’t realize how the fdroid deployment worked, and now I’m gonna be way less skeptical of apps I see there.

The good “creators” to follow for news generally provide a summary in Tiktok, then if you want to verify or learn more they have additional information and sources in their other locations (substack is a big one)
I can generally tell if it’s AI generated, and if I have any suspicion then I try to find other reports and real sources via Google searches and whatnot. Like I didn’t believe the gold trump statue, or the trump and Epstein statue were real.

There’s a great deal of real news that goes through the app. It’s the majority of the content I see.

That was probably the actual software, when it’s actually released it’ll probably be human ran.

Can almost guarantee it’s driven remotely by some underpaid Indian team
Root, install xprivacy (or xprivacylua if your phone isn’t 10 years old).
Already running Linux, so Linux. And they’re not going to be able to stop people sharing their compiled images
