Well we are already getting a popup warning when installing apps outside of the play store. You also have to enable the actual source where you get the file from/try to install it from for allowing installation of these apps.

How massively complicated are they thinking to make this that people are not “coerced” into installing? Also there is really no need to pressure anyone to download a scammy app. There’s plenty on the play store.

E-mail seems a divisive topic on that though. You find either people who say, selfhosted my mail for 4 decades already, never ran into issues! While the other end of the spectrum is not to ever ever eeever try selfhosting e-mail, it is not worth it.

To be fair though, the exact same thing can happen to you on gmail too. They are not unknown to immediately block your account if something flags it to them and getting a quick response there is not a given either.

First, you should be able to interact with it naturally, in text or voice, and have it understand you.

Second, it should be able to see what you see and be able to offer guided support.

And third, it should be able to take action on your behalf.

Fourth and finally, it should be able to destroy your corporeal form and live on as digital-you liking your aunt’s dog pictures on Instagram and writing Facebook posts about immigrants taking our jobs, with just as many creative slurs as you would use.

I’d go for a mix of 50% sd cards and 50% controllers. Maybe 40/60, science is not decided yet.
