One way I’ve found around it is to open videos in new tabs and then they play normally. Playlists or clicking in the same tab doesn’t work. Then I just Ctrl+W the tabs to advance the “playlist”.

Just accelerate at full power and the doors will close themselves, duh.

Democracy 🤷♂️

I always find this interesting. It seems that some people have constant issues (headphones, earphones, mice, …), like my wife, and some people never have any issues, like me.

I’ve got to research how can I do individual sandbox/jail for projects that are opened using VSC. Maybe dockerize everything 🤷♂️
I’m very happy with alternative layers for numpads and such now. It does depend on the use case I guess.

Taste is subjective.

I always wonder if these areas the people’s legit feelings or is this “just for the sake of the show”.
I don’t worry because it’s just another backup. Just in case.
You have a point. But I encrypt my content before uploading it. Going a step further one could encrypt file names as well.

I may simply have had a good run. But I do recall negative experience from the last, when I’ve used local SIMs. Ive been constantly harassed in some countries by their operators sending me ads all the time. Couldn’t be stopped.
No such issues currently with 2 eSIM providers that I use regularly.

I never claimed it worked better or worse. I’m saying my experience is good though. And the hassle is much less.
Can also come to another country prepared. I don’t have to be looking, swapping. It just works.

I never said it’s hard. It’s much more convenient. Can also come to another country prepared. I don’t have to be looking, swapping. It just works.

Very convenient for travel.

For me it is yeah. It’s really convenient when traveling.

I’m still slowly moving towards a Linux phone. That I can install whatever on, of course.
Maybe even eInk screen. Just that currently there’s nothing with eSIM as well.

As much as I hate the idea and do not intend to be a part of it, I think their idea is that you won’t be thinking in terms of folders anymore. You’ll just say what you need. According to them
I recall articles that younger generations don’t even really understand the concept of folders or files per se, because they’ve learned about them differently on smartphones.
