I mean have you ever tried filming an explosion from less than 100 metres? If you don’t understand it or disagree with it just articulate that instead of condescending the whole thing. Just makes you look bad.

It takes a lot less to launch a rocket from the lunar surface to anywhere in the solar system than from earth. If we ever get manufacturing working on or around the moon then it opens up a lot of possibilities for larger payloads. This means we can send more further and it makes the whole process cheaper.

Yeah that’s not even fast given the distances involved. About 450 million years away if I’m not screwing up the numbers.

God I remember doing a puzzle in Jedi fallen order and about half way through it’s like “oh maybe you should do this” and pointed me to the solution… Like if I’m playing on the hardest difficulty why are you throwing hints that ruin the whole thing?

Yeah I don’t understand why they moved away from recipe cards and single page things you can just look at.

Last I checked north Korea hadn’t invaded

I’ve capped out 32 and still do fairly regularly. But I used to do a bunch of 3D and rendering. Now I do photo editing and just have other stuff open. 64 would help a bit for me but I can live.

It’s because the regulatory bodies are captured by the interests of the fossil fuel companies

Enough wind redirection could affect weather patterns. But we won’t run out of wind, spoiler but wind power is just indirect solar power.

3070 is enough for most stuff at 4k 60 medium. Not all the newer stuff though.

4k 25" was worth it for me but I only spent about £140 on it so YMMV it’s nice but not essential and after 1080p the extra pixels only add so much

4k is nice but at 1440p the diminishing returns are pretty obvious doubt 8k is somehow going to change that

Honestly on the bus or train it’s kinda nice to just be in a bubble. Obviously you still need to be aware to some degree but I remember my college bus trips being a nice isolated time most days.

The joys of not understanding ionising radiation

For drawing/painting yeah, krita is comparable, especially if you set the presets to be similar to ps. I haven’t tried krita with photo editing much though

They’ve been using wire guided drones in Ukraine lately so directly damaging the drones is useful in cases where you’re not going to be jamming them

Inflation
The whole goal of these algorithms is that you put an input in and the output it gives out is as close to the most likely to be correct answer as it can be, training is just repeating that process. We’re several years deep into these “most likely” results and sometimes they’re pretty close but usually it’s not quite there because the only guidance they get is from outside.
