IMO the average person (and multiple people I know) no longer like using their computers since W11 was forced down. They’ve heard good things about Apple and are ready for a change.

CA billionaires are racing to pass a constitutional amendment to block a proposed tax on those with over a billion dollars. They’re spending an absolutely massive amount of money for a constant barrage of calls, texts and mailings.

It’s being sold as protection for the average person’s retirement accounts and savings, but that’s absolute bullshit. The proposed tax has no impact on anyone except the obscenely wealthy and there’s nothing even being suggested that would impact anyone with less than $50 million.

Billionaires have essentially unlimited budgets for propaganda and what I’ve seen is so effective I expect it to pass.

The news always fails to mention that this kind of stuff is knowable. The engineers that sized the fire suppression system knew with some degree of precision how much heat the company’s paper products generate when ignited. The system should have been sized for significantly more than that, specifically so a fire can’t get out of control and destroy the entire warehouse.

The fact the roof collapsed stinks of cost cutting. Or maybe something just failed?. We’ll probably never get that kind of detail.
