Honestly I don’t think Apple has the chops to build something outside their ecosystem. They just do not want to put in the work to cater to people not in their ecosystem.

That makes the idea of a VR headset with sports harder. I mean, to redeem a FREE (included with MLS season tickets) pass you had to either have an Apple device or a windows or Mac computer with iTunes. Because they had no way to set you up otherwise even though you would be streaming on a roku or fire stick or whatever.

They definitely have the air of not wanting anything to do with you unless you’re all in and that kind of attitude is hard to square with a broadly available device.

My response concerned the duopoly though. Graphene is still dependent on google regardless. They can’t maintain all of android themselves even if they tried. So it’s the best of a bad situation but does nothing to alleviate the overall problem.

Big disagree here. Still offer a jack, SD card, etc. Worth way more to me than a high end processor that I don’t use any more than a mid range one.

I have one. It’s honestly not bad. The only thing it could use is 8GB RAM and not 4. Otherwise it’s perfectly good for my uses. Seems quick enough, has a jack, etc.

I mean, it certainly is an alternative to all three morons using discord as some sort of forum for an app or similar. The same way discord is the worst for easily searchable info like a forum is basically the converse for discourse. And exactly the opposite for real time chat obviously.

He at least mentions outright it’s a forum tool. The real problem is having to include it because people misuse discord.
