Because having an automated way to identify what is real and what is fake can be extremely useful. That example has major red flags, but perhaps it could be that you want to check an image that doesn’t have any glaring red flags.

I’m sure you must receive lots of annoying questions because of the work you do, so thanks a lot for the insight!

I see. I thought that the backdoor had to be in the client, because I thought that could be the only place where the private keys are stored, but I’ve since realized that it could be on the server. Thanks for the insight.

From the linked press release:
For example, when creating an account, minors below 13 can enter a false birth date that makes them at least 13 years old, with no effective controls in place to check the correctness of the self-declared date of birth.
Meta’s tool for reporting minors under 13 on the platform is difficult to use and not effective, requiring up to seven clicks just to access the reporting form, which is not automatically pre-filled with the user’s information. Even when a minor under 13 is reported for being under the age threshold, there often is no proper follow-up, and the reported minor can simply continue to use the service without any type of check.

What I don’t understand yet is why there haven’t been any independent cybersecurity experts capable of finding a backdoor in WhatsApp. How hard would it be for an expert without access to the source code to find one? Are any independent entities monitoring WhatsApp’s security at all??

Yeah. This AI boom barely created any new problems. It mostly just enlarged, or sped up the rate of problems that already existed, a bit like a catalyst.

CD is just an acronym for the Compact Disc media format.

I mean, joining that server kind of depends on whether BladeFederation is a sea cow, right? It seems it would be a bit rude for a non-sea-cow individual to join and pretend to be a sea cow…

That’s alao good. ASCII art is a treasure that must be preserved.

Did you copy it from the Internet, or did you do it yourself?

You say that Mullvad is heavily shilled, and I’d like to learn more about it. Would you mind showing a concrete example, so I can better inform myself?

Sorry it took so long, but I added some of your suggestions in. Thanks.

Please be careful when using Windows 10, because any security vulnerabilities envolving Windows itself will not be fixed, and your computer will be more vulnerable to attacks. I’m not saying this to scare you off, but to advise you to take extra precaution and to remind you that most computer security experts do not recommend using and connecting to the Internet systems that will get no further security updates. I’m no expert myself, but I’m pretty sure that things like making sure you web browser is always updated, being careful with the programs you choose to download, and using updated antivirus software are the most common tips for this kind of situation. You might want to do more your research on this topic yourself if you haven’t yet. Stay safe!

I’m glad that someone is finally trying to prosecute XAI for their crimes! Making a product that allows anyone to make deepfake porn and other types of also bad deepfakes, and proceding to do nothing about those cases, should be, in my books, extremely illegal, and I’m pretty sure that’s also illegal in the legal framework of most European countries.

Fair point. I just assumed most people reading my message wouldn’t care much about torrenting, but in this economy where censorship is pretty much happening, port forwarding would definitely be a plus. Do you have better suggestions?

Wait, WHAT? They already voted? I didn’t expect that so soon…

The US government and everyone that stands behind it, they want to make those who fight against ICE look like dangerous creatures that roam the Earth and must be stopped. They want to look like they’re in total control, by making these fighters look desperate for their lives when they are arrested, by celebrating whenever one of them is killed. But most importantly, they want us to fight each other, so that we forget who is our true opponent on what is basically a war on our rights as human beings.
And there are probably many users that do all of this due to being afraid that things might just start breaking, or that more actions they don’t understand will be required to keep the system rolling, if they stray from this path for even a little.
